NFL Predictions- Week 7

First awful week of the season with a record of just 6-8 straight up and 5-9 ATS. Record on the season is 54-37 and 47-44. Lets hope for better this week.

Seahawks (+7.5) over 49’ERS- Thursdays night shave been tough for me, but well go with the underdog this week. Maybe Seattle has a letdown, but this game should be much more significant to them than the Patriots. Defensive struggle for both teams. 49’ers 17 Seahawks 13

Cowboys (-2.5) over PANTHERS- Tough game to call as the result is dependent on who plays to what level. Dallas has to be desperate so Ill go with them. Cowboys 27 Panthers 17

Browns (+3.5) over COLTS- I’m not sure I understand why people are saying Mike Holmgren did a good job in building this team, other than the fact people like him, but they should have enough in the tank to beat the Colts this week. Browns 29 Colts 24

BUCCANEERS (+3.5) over Saints- Maybe the Saints have fixed themselves over the bye week, but they are so bad defensively it is hard to justify picking them against anybody, especially on the road. The Bucs do compete. They may not always win, but they will certainly try and trying is enough to score points against this squad. Buccaneers 29 Saints 24

GIANTS (-6.5) over Redskins- Expect this to be a back and forth contest of two explosive offenses. Giants are the more seasoned and explosive of the two teams and should continue to make people think they are the best in the league. Giants 38 Redskins 27

Ravens (+6.5) over TEXANS- I think the line is only this high because of the recent rash of injuries to hit the Ravens. Texans have been unimpressive two weeks in a row and Baltimore should have enough on the roster to remain a solid team. Texans win but not by 7. Texans 26 Ravens 21

Packers (-5.5) over RAMS- The Rams are one of those teams that just seems to hang around forever in a game, but it may be more difficult against an explosive Packer team. Closer than some think, but a late score ices it for the Pack. Packers 26 Rams 19

Cardinals (+6.5) over VIKINGS- If Arizona had a QB they would be pretty good. They don’t so they are mediocre but their defense always gives them a chance. Vikings are somewhat similar but they have a few more weapons and a better QB situation. Close game. Vikings 17 Cardinals 14

BILLS(-3.5) over Titans- Something tells me the Bills are going to be a team that beats a few bad teams and never gets even close to a good one this season. Titans are a pretty bad team, so… Bills 21 Titans 24

PATRIOTS (-10.5) over Jets- Normally Id say the Patriot defense presents an opportunity for Mark Sanchez, but I have been saying that for 2 years running and almost every time they play them he goes into a shell. This is going to be a difficult one for the team. Patriots 33 Jets 20

Jaguars (+4.5) over RAIDERS- If ever there was an NFL game to get a 0.0 rating in the home markets it is this one. Just an awful game. Raiders 19 Jaguars 16

BENGALS (+2.5) over Steelers- Neither team is good but the Bengals may be the more explosive. A loss to Pittsburgh would be crushing, but they have played poorly all season and it may be time to start being realistic about their team in 2012. Bengals 28 Steelers 23

BEARS (-5.5) over Lions- The game last week may have saved the Lions seasons and given them hope, but they were awful for 90% of that game and have been awful all season. Chicago somehow gets it done every week. Bears roll on Monday. Bears 37 Lions 16
