NFL Predictions- Week 4

Last week’s record was 10-6 straight up and 9-7 ATS. The yearly record is now 31-17 straight up and 25-23 ATS. Full week is now up.

Browns (+13.5) over RAVENS- I have no clue why I keep picking the Browns as they are a hapless bunch, but we will give them one more shot. Ravens come off an emotional late night win and may be a bit down for this one allowing the Browns to stay within two scores. Ravens 24 Browns 14

CHIEFS(+1.5) over Chargers- I have no idea what to think of San Diego. I tend to think what we saw last week is closer to the real Chargers than anything else. Kansas City isnt good but they are home so we’ll grab them and predict an overall win. Chiefs 24 Chargers 21
,br /> JETS(+4.5) over 49’ers- If the Jets run defense shows up I think they will win this game. The question I have is if the Jets have a run defense that will actually show up to play. Im not sure I get the logic behind a week in Ohio for San Francisco, but I guess we’ll see if that pays off. Jets 17 49’ers 13

FALCONS(-7.5) over Panthers- Carolina looks awful and it seems as if teams have a pretty good understanding of Cam Newton’s tendencies this year. He needs to adjust to equal his impressive rookie performance rather than sulk, which is what he seems to want to do now. Falcons 31 Panthers 17

TEXANS(-12.5) over Titans- Tennessee has arguably been the worst team in the NFL while the Texans have arguably been the best. This big lines can be scary, but with Tennessee having such a big win last week I definitely see a letdown. Texans 27 Titans 10

Seahawks(-1.5) over RAMS- I don’t really understand the line on this game which is always a bad sign, but Seattle’s defense is so good I cant see any possible way the Rams do anything in this one. Seahawks 20 Rams 7
,br /> Patriots(-3.5) over BILLS- Interesting game, maybe the most interesting of the week. Buffalo has beaten two of the softest teams in the league to get to 2-1 while New England sits at 1-2 losing to two of the better teams in the NFL. A Bills win cements their status while a Patriots loss could sound off the alarm in Foxboro. Patriots 27 Bills 14

Vikings(+4.5) over LIONS- Detroit is going to have issues if their QB cant stay healthy this season. Their defense is awful. Vikings may not be much but they do have a young QB who looks like he could be a player in the league. Lions 24 Vikings 21

CARDINALS(-6.5) over Dolphins- Miami’s defense is pretty good which makes the 6.5 point spread a little tricky, but Miami makes so many mistakes on offense that I see the Cardinals capitalizing enough on that to cover. Cardinals 23 Dolphins 10

BRONCOS(-6.5) over Raiders- Im not sure a team in the league has faced as tough as schedule as the Broncos have this season. Denver is still sorting through their offense, but if they click for 60 minutes rather than only in their hurry up they are going to be a dangerous team. Broncos 24 Raiders 13

Bengals(-2.5) over JAGUARS- Jaguars got their win out of the way last weekend. Wont be so easy this go around against a much more complete football team. Bengals 23 Jaguars 10

Saints(+6.5) over PACKERS- The Saints are a bad football team, but I just cant see an 0-4 start. Packers may be desperate as well after getting robbed of a win last week, but there is just something about that team I don’t like right now. Saints 30 Packers 27
,br /> Redskins(+3.5) over BUCCANEERS- Its funny how fast opinions on a team fall, and none quicker than the Redskins who have fallen on tough times after their upset win over what turned out to be a not good Saints team. Tampa is home which I think leads to a late FG win, but I cant see them winning by any more than that. Buccaneers 13 Redskins 10

Giants(+2.5) over EAGLES- Phiadelphia always plays New York tough and this is their chance to turn the opinion of their team around, but Mike Vick is so bad right now and I don’t think he can just turn it on, especially if the Giants pass rush is working. Vick is playing for his future right now and that will just make him press more. Take Eli in the 4th. Giants 27 Eagles 20

COWBOYS(-3.5) over Bears- This is more of an anti-Bears rather than pro-Cowboys game. Dallas has looked listless in two of their three games, but you know the talent is there. The Bears defense is old and the offense is just pitiful. Cowboys 29 Bears 14 RSS Subscription Twitter
