NFL Predictions- Week 2

0-1 thus far for the week. For those scoring last week was 8-8 ATS and 10-6 straght up. Off to week number 2....

Bears(+6.5) over PACKERS- Im not in the group throwing in the towel on Green Bay off one bad game, but I just think this line is too high. Chicago always plays this team tough and a touchdown just seems high. Packers win, but closer than 7. Packers 30 Bears 27

PANTHERS (+2.5) over Saints- Both teams played poorly last week and I was stunned by the Saints loss. New Orleans is a team that could be a worry and I donít see their defense being able to keep Cam Newton out of the end zone. Panthers 40 Saints 34

PATRIOTS(-13.5) over Cardinals- Im not sure New England even played a good game last week and they still blew out the Titans. Arizona comes off a difficult win, has to travel east for an early game and is starting Kevin Kolb. I donít like those odds. Patriots 30 Cardinals 10

Raiders (-2.5) over DOLPHINS- Miami just seems inept right now and its going to be a tough season with a raw rookie taking his lumps. Last week the game snowballed out of control, which I think is something we may see a lot of this season. Raiders 24 Dolphins 10

COLTS (+1.5) over Vikings- If Minnesota was home Id probably take them, but Ill go with the home field advantage here. Both teams are going to be awful, with no offense and no defense. The window closed on Minnesota and the Colts just did a terrible job building up their roster in Mannings last few years with the team. Colts 17 Vikings 14

Browns (+9.5) over BENGALS- Cincinnati is not as bad as they looked last week and they are home, but Cleveland is one of those teams thatís drags you down to their level ane forces close ugly football games. I see that happening this week. Bengals 16 Browns 10.

EAGLES (-2.5) over Ravens- Impressive game by Baltimore last Monday, but I think that was an aberration more than anything close to the norm. Philadelphia is better than they showed last week and if they donít win this game and start 1-1 with another bad showing they may riot in Philly. Eagles 23 Ravens 17

Texans (-7.5) over JAGUARS- Id expect something very similar to what happened against Miami last week to happen this week when they line up against the Jaguars. Texans 20 Jaguars 10

Chiefs (+3.5) over BILLS- There has been almost nothing I have liked about the Bills offseason and I just cant get over the fact that their QB is Ryan Fitzpatrick. Kansas City doesnít do much for me either, but I think they will make less mistakes. Chiefs 24 Bills 17

GIANTS (-7.5) over Buccaneers- This is a big game for New York who tends to play down to opponents like this. That being said, with such a long layoff the Giants have to be chomping at the bit to do some damage. Giants defense will step it up. Giants 31 Buccaneers 14

Cowboys (-3.5) over SEAHAWKS- Seahawks had a million chances to win last week and couldt come through. I donít see them having so many chances to win this week. Tough matchup for them with the Cowboys who are a far better team. Cowboys 24 Seahawks 19

RAMS (+3.5) over Redskins- I think Washington will have a difficult time coming off such a high last week against the Saints. The Rams offense stinks but they do have defenders that can rush the passer and I donít think they will allow Washington to set the run game up. Rams 16 Redskins 13

Titans (+5.5) over CHARGERS- I just cant pick San Diego early in the season, even knowing how inept the Titans look. Ill go with San Diego for the win but not the cover. Chargers 20 Titans 16

STEELERS (-6.5) over Jets- Pittsburgh is a difficult place to play and that team is going to do everything in their power to not be 0-2. Jets played the entire game near midfield last week and had the receivers running so wide open that I canít see the same success this week. Hopefully Im wrong. Steelers 23 Jets 13

Lions (+6.5) over 49íers- One game doesnít really change my opinion much of San Francisco. Stafford will pick them apart with the short game and mix some big throws in to Calvin Johnson to win outright. Lions 24 49íers 20

FALCONS(-3.5) over Broncos- Nice win for Peyton Manning last week, but tougher task on the road, even though itís in a dome. Atlanta had a laugher last week and does have a lot of weapons to overmatch the Broncos defense, unless Matt Ryan freezes up because its Manning. Falcons 29 Broncos 20 RSS Subscription Twitter
