2011 NFL Predictions- Week 16
New York Jets Salary Cap Page

NFL Predictions- Week 16

9-7 last week in both categories. 147-78 and 128-97 are the records. Happy Holidays everyone!...

Texans(-6.5) over COLTS-I cant believe that I am hearing people talk about how the Colts are alive to win these next two games. Has anyone watched them play? One win doesn’t change the fact that they have been brutal. Texans 31 Colts 10

RAVENS(-13.5) over Browns- I never like the Ravens in this big number games but the numbers say to go with them. Eveytime the Browns offense takes the field the NFL gets set back 40 years. Ravens 24 Browns 9

BILLS(+2.5) over Broncos- For some reason my head tells me this is the wrong pick, but the Broncos are on the road and with a lot of pressure on them to do well. If the Bills actually try they can win this game. Either way it will be close. Broncos 24 Bills 23

PANTHERS(-7.5) over Buccaneers- Do the Bucs have anything left? Probably not. They have had maybe 1 competitive game in the last 6 weeks. Panthers should win comfortably. Panthers 30 Buccaneers 20

Cardinals(+4.5) over BENGALS- Arizona has really been playing well of late while the Bengals have struggled. Not easy for Arizona though to go on the road and into the cold and pull off the upset. My guess is they wont do it but will cover. Bengals 23 Cardinals 21

Raiders(-1.5) over CHIEFS- Oakland is in a bit of a tailspin while the Chiefs pulled off the upset of the season, but I cant disregard the rest of the year here. Oakland finds ways to lose games but they do hang in there. They will find a way to not lose this game. Raiders 21 Chiefs 17

Dolphins(+9.5) over PATRIOTS- Two things I know—Miami will compete and the Patriots defense is terrible. Makes a backdoor cover very probably. Patriots 28 Dolphins 20

JETS(-2.5) over Giants- Some of the matchups here are bad for the Jets but overall they have been a much better team than the Giants. Jets need a good game from their RT to win this week. Jets 28 Giants 24

STEELERS(-14.5) over Rams- A huge spread for a Steelers team that is often underwhelming offensively, but after a bad loss I have to assume they play better than usual, especially against a team as bad as St. Louis. Steelers 24 Rams 6

Jaguars(+7.5) over TITANS- I’m not really sure why I stick with the Jaguars as often as I do. Most of the year they play decent defense , but 2 of the last 3 games have been awful. Still we will play the numbers again. Titans 19 Jaguars 14

Vikings(+6.5) over REDSKINS- After playing all out the last two weeks this would seem like the prime spot for a letdown game. Neither team is very good and a 6.5 point spread seems very high for the Redskins. Redskins 21 Vikings 17

LIONS(-2.5) over Chargers- Difficult to predict since the Chargers have been so hot of late. Detroit is one of the few teams in the NFL that can go toe to toe with a clicking Chargers offense. They should get it done this week. Lions 28 Chargers 24

Eagles(+2.5) over COWBOYS- Two very evenly matched teams with everything on the line. Dallas is home and does want t0 pay this team back, which should make the difference, but they wont cover. Cowboys 26 Eagles 24

49’ers(-2.5) over SEAHAWKS- Pete Carroll has really done a great job with this Seattle team, but the 49er defense is so good this year I just cant see the Seahawks scoring enough to ake a real push at the win. 49’ers 21 Seahawks 13

Bears(+13.5) over PACKERS- Chicago has killed me the last few weeks but I’ll continue to ride it out. Packers may be going through the motions by Sunday night anyway. Packers 30 Bears 21

SAINTS(-6.5) over Falcons- New Orleans just has too much firepower for the Falcons who may have little to play for Monday night anyway. Saints at home is always round. Saints 30 Falcons 23.
