Getting Under the 2012 Salary Cap

AFC East Salary Pages Are Complete!

The individual player pages are not finished for the Bills or even started for the Dolphins, but with the completion of the Dolphins team cap pages the site now has estimated team salary data for tracking the teams can be extremely difficult. Much of what is listed comes from press reports and inferring some details about contracts given the history of the team. I don't pretend to be 100% accurate but usually can be close enough to at least give an "in the park" estimate for the players and teams. A good rule of thumb is +- 2 million until someone publishes cap space for teams in the league.

If you have any tips or information about any NFL contracts please contact me so I can update the site properly. In the past the USA Today website used to publish cap information once a year that would allow me to verify my estimates and adjust future errors accordingly. Unfortunately it looks like USA Today has shut down that aspect of its site leaving us amateur cap guys in the dark so any type of information you may be willing to share would be very helpful.

To any agents that read that site please be aware that what I write is based on the limited information that I have access to and I try to analyze the deals or possible deals using that. If there is ever an article that you feel is unfair because of wrong estimates on my part please just contact me and I will print an upadated article based on the correct figures.

For the loyal Jets fans I know that my future cap pages for the Jets are actually behind the rest of the AFC East! That will be corrected in the coming week when I update our 2014, 2015, and 2016 cap pages.

I am always up for new suggestions so if you have any ideas just drop me an email and Ill be sure to consider it, even if its about a team outside the AFC East. If you have a specific player or thought that you might be interested in reading about let me know and Ill try to write something on the player. Its easier for me to do with the Jets since Im a fan of the team and my own thoughts are usually pretty in tune with most of the fanbase in terms of roster moves and possible additions.Hopefully the site can be a pretty good resource for those fans interested in the salary cap and where their favorite team stands.
